A: Shims from Grove Shims™ are made from solid, not hollow, recyclable plastic. The solidity of plastic leveling shims makes them ideal in crucial, load-bearing conditions.

Q2: How are Grove’s shims manufactured?

A: Our shims are completely manufactured in the USA by injecting molten plastic into a mold. All of our shims are made from one of the following: polypropylene (PP), HIP (high-impact polystyrene), or ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene).

Q3: What is the difference between U-shaped Shims and Horseshoe Shims?

A: Though the terms are often used interchangeably, U-shaped shims have rounded outer corner edges while horseshoe shims have square outer edges.

Q4: Are shims available in different or custom colors?

A: Yes – with a minimum order quantity, Grove Shims can custom manufacture plastic leveling shims in different colors as well as different thicknesses, sizes, and shapes.

A: Typically, we ship our shims in boxes. However, upon request (and for an increased shipping price), we can ship the shims in plastic bags.

A: Grove Shims can typically deliver shims throughout the USA within 48 hours. If necessary, we can deliver shims sooner if your need is urgent.
